Contribute FeedbackDillisk on the Docks offers a mix of experiences, with some patrons saying the food was excellent while others were disappointed. The service staff received high praise for being friendly and helpful, with Cyprian standing out for his exceptional service. The restaurant's atmosphere was highlighted positively, with live music mentioned as a highlight. Some customers experienced challenges with parking, but overall, the restaurant seems like a great spot for a casual meal with friends. Recommendations include trying the seafood chowder and fish and chips for lunch.
A peaceful evening at Dillisk is the perfect way to unwind in Galway. The vegetable soup is rich and creamy, with a hint of puréed broccoli. The spinach and orange salad may be lacking in inspiration, but the chicken pie with blue cheese is a fantastic twist on a traditional Irish dish. The menu also features a variety of Irish whiskies, including the rare Roe Co. Although the restaurant seemed understaffed, the service was still pleasant. Overall, Dillisk provides a tranquil and relaxing dining experience in Galway.
We had a great time dining and having drinks at the bar and restaurant. Our server/bartender, Cyprian, was amazing. He was friendly, efficient, and very knowledgeable about the food as well as the local gins and whiskeys. The seafood chowder, salads, and starters were all fantastic.
We enjoyed dining at this restaurant while staying at Harbour Hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and hospitable. The food and drinks were also fantastic.
The breakfast options at this restaurant may not be extensive, but the quality is good. They offer a continental-style buffet with items like toast, pastries, sausages, beans, scrambled eggs, yogurt, and more, all served hot and fresh. Additionally, you can order items like omelets from the serving desk for an extra cost. We were seated at a table by the window, offering a refreshing view of the green surroundings to start our day. The staff were friendly and courteous.
After a fun day of sightseeing on St. Stephen’s Day in Galway, my family was famished and looking for a cozy, delicious, and quiet dinner. We found ourselves at the Dillisk and it was exactly what we needed. The host, Cyprian, was more than gracious getting us in. The wait staff were attentive. The cocktails amazing. And all of our dinners were perfectly prepared —curries, roast chicken, mussels, calamari, and Bailey’s infused cheesecake to finish it off. We left fully restored and ready to do it all again.
