Variety of local Swiss wines makes this visit very beautiful and beautiful. Swiss wines are not so popular and known as French or Italian wines, but they are of very good quality.

Beautiful tapas style of food and the best part is that you choose your wine from a large comprehensive list. Few people know about this place and I hope it will never be too busy. The staff is really cool.

You HAVE to be aware that this large, modern wine shop also offers restaurant for lunch (and sometimes dinner, but not very often I think otherwise you just walk by (unless of course, what you are looking for a wine shop ! and...wow, what a mistake if you love wine !! The restaurant is small (two dozen seats approx., maximum but nicely decorated and light. Service is both incredibly friendly and personable (pretty much all waiters know me by my name, and even recognize my voice on the phone when I call to book a table , as well as very competent when it comes to the LIMITLESS choice of excellent wines. The menu changes every week, there 's an affordable set menu plus also a short but well chosen à la carte offering. The food is delicious and quite sufficient, first courses, main courses and desserts tend to be all equally delicious (and I 'm a frequent visitor, as the reader has now understood, so I 've tried many of them . They are also not a surprise ! well chosen to match challenging and delicate wine choices. But of course the main point is in the choice of wines it 's a wine shop after all, remember ? And an excellent one, too. So while there 's always a very good choice of tasty wines to be ordered by the glass, the must experience is just to walk through the aisles of the shop, by yourself or with the competent advice of one of the waiters, and pick any bottle you fancy : it will then be served at your table with your meal, AT RETAIL PRICE WITH NO MARK UP (and no cork charge, either !! As an outcome : one gets to drink any wine one may fancy from a very wide and very well chosen selection, at a price that cannot possibly be matched in any conventional restaurant, and taste it with excellent food during your meal, with friendly and knowledgeable service in a nice looking room. What else to ask for ?????? In the otherwise quite pricey central Geneva area, where many restaurants tend to be either very, very expensive or mediocre (with only a handful of interesting exceptions , this is therefore one not to be missed, if one enjoys her wines, of course ! It will continue to be ontop of my list of favorites for business or friendly lunches in town.
