Country Boy Restaurant - Gimli

Very warm and nostalgic place with a fantastic messy burger and great fries! So delicious I'd definitely return to try more of the menu

A cool little retro place with good food. I think it's a family run business & they're friendly. We came at an odd hour and it wasn't busy so we placed our order and had time to browse around the cute little retro Resturant with Neat tables & interesting pics on the wall,,etc. On a street with lots of other restaurants. It also has a takeout ice cream window.

Always a good stop, food is good, ice cream also another treat. On of the many Gimli staples, but usually doesn't disappoint.

This place is located right across the street from the Lakeview Resort. We've visited a number of times, and found the service to be hit and miss. The ice cream, however, is always a hit. Grab a cone and go for a nice walk along the boardwalk!

There is a gyro platter on almost every menu in Gimli, and this one was very good. Fries were fresh and the tzatziki sauce home made. I had the chicken, which was tender and tasty as was the grilled pita. The restaurant is clean, has a captivating 50's diner theme, and offers fast service. They even have lactose free ice cream. I will return next time I visit.
