Birthday dinner for my wife. Food was good if not a bit overpriced; but teppanyaki is normally on the more expensive side. When we were paying, we noticed that we’d been undercharged for a drink so we told the server. Not even a word of thanks for being honest and they still charged us for the drink. Note that they add 10% service charge automatically. read more.

"Amazing and varied homemade soups, scones and cakes, all on offer on a daily basis. Today I had Moroccan chicken soup with a treacle scone....strange mixture, I know, however, treacle scones are such a rarity these days and it was delicious. The cafe is now table service and staff are so friendly and engage with you when , first, they bring a bottle of water and glasses to your table. Love the sharing of tables, especially encouraged when it's busy.....which is most days over lunch period. When paying, consider a donation to allow a homeless person some nourishing food. Once visited, defy you not to revisit, it's so worth it."
