To start off its cash only but there is an ATM machine. We stopped here a couple times just for a beer break and enjoyed the ambiance...Its a little of this and a little of that but the service was good and the beer cold. View all feedback.
What Sharon F doesn't like about AB Hotel:
The main focus of this establishment now is catering to Chinese Tourist busses that come for the bistro and poker machines. It doesn't really feel like a pub at all anymore, sadly. The tap beer range is ok, though overpriced. Some of the staff are friendly while others treat you like you're an unwanted distraction as they struggle with not having slept the past 3 nights. Often the bar is unattended while staff are el... View all feedback.
I was here a couple of times with friends. was here yesterday for the paid tw UFC fight and can see that the employees have worked so hard to participate and clean up articles. I think the personal is always super friendly and attentive. really ( surprisingly) good Asian kitchen, drinks and clean bathroom.
Decent location beautiful outside surface with candles in large glasses. a fan . the laksa and carving ordered. all good with both. would eat here again
For a vegetarian it is difficult to find decisions in a pub beyond a plate of hot chips or kartoffel wedges. the ab hotel has an amazing salt pfeffer tofu dish. they also have a few Asian dishes that can be vegetarian on request. I like to come here, only for the Tofu court, can't be said much more about this place because it's a normal everyday pub.
The worst pub-exsousnce of my life, eating expensive and drinking. a group of us went there jo have a birthday party for a friend and were made to feel very unwilling. it seems as if they have more interest in people gambeling than a good time
Came here after traipsing up and down Glebe Point Road and tried some of their accolade-winning dishes, including the laksa. Cost was pretty high for pub grub but we were both pleasantly surprised but largely shocked by how large the dishes, particularly the laksa, were. Quality was reasonable all across the board. There was a large variety of alcohol, the prices for which seemed okay for a pub, but we had none of it Service was fairly good, with friendly staff and quick order-to-service time. However, the same cannot be said of the ambience; the hotel was mostly empty but for some local regulars and the decor was shabby.
