Jay Ho India - Glenview

Our party of seven felt like a challenge at this restaurant. It took 45 minutes for our 5-6 appetizers to arrive, with only the onion bhaji receiving enthusiastic reviews. Customers came and went before us, and our drinks were delivered to the wrong end of the table. However, once the main courses arrived, they exceeded our expectations. It seemed to be a night where the service and appetizers fell short, but the main dishes made up for it.

We have grown to adore this nearby Indian restaurant. The food is authentic with a wide range of options. You can customize the seasoning to your liking. The staff are friendly, kind, and professional. My wife and I love coming here to try different dishes.

The extensive menu offers a variety of traditional favorites as well as unique dishes. We tried a number of vegetable and chicken entrees that were all hot, freshly made, and flavorful. The wide assortment of Naan and Dosas was a highlight - we particularly enjoyed the garlic Naan and sampling some unfamiliar flavors. They also have a good variety of baked duck dishes to choose from.

Overall my experience brings me back to jay ho. menu had a nice selection and with a party of six we had the opportunity to try a fair number of items. everything we had was enjoyed by our party. top highlights had to be the 3 different naan we tried. cauliflower, garlic and potato. I would also recommend the lamm boti kabab marsala, huhn tikka masala, and tandoori huhn. only the problem we experience was the inconsistent service. at the time the service was slow and at others it was extremely attentive and prompt. everyone was very friendly and is the reason why I am willing to give the service another chance.

Food and service were very good. The staff answered our questions and explained how certain dishes were prepared. Certainly will return.
