Contribute FeedbackThe restaurant at the Hilton received mixed reviews from customers. While some were not satisfied with the portion sizes and quality of food, others praised the variety and quality of the buffet breakfast. The service was highlighted positively in most reviews, except for one incident where a waitress was mistreated by her superior. Overall, the atmosphere was described as great, but the prices were considered high by some guests. Despite some shortcomings, the Hilton High Tea experience in the club lounge was a standout, with guests raving about the food and service provided.
We had our high-time day at catch. it was a pretty night and our waitress was victoria. She did our night. her service was excellent. the seafood plate was small but top class. it lacks a little intimacy, but is still ok
My goodness. I no it’s the time of covid but you are offering a buffet breakfast for $39 I respect the fact that we aren’t able to serve ourselves and totally understand it. We stayed at the Hilton for 4 nights and ate breakfast w...you twice. Ok here we go : We were barked at at 7am in the morning on the first day by the simple girl w the glasses, we let it go and just went to our table. We then went up to the buffet bar as a family where she barked again about my kids touching the side of the bench. Like is this serious?? She then went on to serve us up our food and she was acting like it was her food and it was war time and we were on food shortage. It was the most ridiculous dining experience of our lives, but out of principle we decided to give it a go the next morning chalking it up as a one off and this time we had family come to join us. So it was a table of 9, so that’s $300 to be once again told by the simple barking dog that we have exceeded our coffee limit (even though we had been there 5 mins and none of us had a coffee). Then the same old tricks w the food!!! Just don’t get it why you would put what I’m guessing as your Desiree to employ her over your customers satisfaction. I commend you employing her but she needs to be removed from a customer contact role immediately!! Either this or you are just collection money and you don’t really care. What is it?? There’s no way I’m the first person to complain about the matter because there was another table on the one of the barking breakfasts who were also a bit shocked by her.
I am the first to admit that I have not been a fan of this restaurant but with the weather outside not the best and after a long day decided to give it one last try. To say I was surprised was the understatement. From...the halloumi fries, to the special of grilled barramundi In coconut and lastly the pana cotta dessert I was suitably impressed If this restaurant has put on a new chef, make sure you keep them and ill be back. One last point, keep the amazing waitress. One waitress, tables busy and she kept us all watered, fed and entertained. Well done
The service was impeccable, couldn’t fault the waiters at all. However the meal was very disappointing. The menu didn’t match what was advertised online, it was much more expensive with less variety. Oysters for entree were far too salty. My lamb was almost 50% fat....My partner’s steak was practically bleeding despite asking for medium. I am far from a big eater, and yet we were both left still hungry from the small portion sizes we received. I expected a lot more considering the price of the meals.
Brilliant Dinner! While staying at the Hilton in Surfers Paradise we chose to have dinner in Catch... what a treat! A very memorable evening with great food, service and wine... Just what we were looking for.... very attentive service added to the total experience. We are planning to go back again during our stay. Recommended!
