What User doesn't like about Masala Spice Indian Cuisine:
I believe Masala does a great job of offering a variety of vegan options on their menu and buffet. However, the food can be a bit oily and lacking in flavor. They also do not automatically provide chutney, and their samosas taste like they may have been frozen. Excellent Indian restaurant. Authentic food preparations with great service. Good vegetarian options. Ample car parking . Vegetarian options: Green Jackfruit curry was not only authentic, but, delicious. Same is true with saag paneer, papad and vegetable Biryani. Recommend this for any vegetarian or vegan looking for Indian cuisine. Friendly and attentive service. Good place if you are looking for south Indian or seafood. However it wasn't spicy enough for me. It was expensive like buffet is $21. I think Santa Barbara is expensive in general. I was told they only had halal goat and lamb and not chicken. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

This is a nice to get a little more authentic Indian flavor. Most restaurants have a creamy curry that they use in all their dishes but masala spice has a different curry for each.
