Rowan Tree - Gorey

The staff at the restaurant did an amazing job taking care of our group of 8 adults, 2 children, and 2 babies in strollers. The food was outstanding, and the fixed menu option catered to everyone's preferences. I would definitely return just for the delicious warm chocolate fondant.

I went to the restaurant on a Thursday to sample their Tapas menu. The tapas dishes were delicious and expertly cooked. However, I was disappointed by the dessert. Despite waiting 45 minutes for a dessert menu, we were ultimately presented with a "chocolate fondant" that looked more like a reheated muffin from a cafe, accompanied by a scoop of ice cream. It was not impressive and appeared to be a result of budget cuts by the Redmond Hotel Group.

Great food , great service . Three of us chose a variety of dishes and were very pleased with our choices.

Back to Ashdown Park Hotel on a voucher deal with dinner included. The meal was super, just like our previous visit, and served by very pleasant staff. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole night. Very good food, prepared and presented to a very high standard. Very highly...recommended.

Visited here to catch up with a friend; with having dietary requirements it is always a little harder to find a restaurant that caters! To say it was probably the most relaxing experience I've had for a meal is an understatement. Eimear the staff...at the ashdown park hotel went beyond above for us nothing was a problem such a lovely atmosphere.
