Been to this buffet many, many times (weekly basis). Offers a terrific variety and always gets the bus loads. Have been there at Xmas and New Years and I want to say this establishment gives back to the community through a community dinner. They are a valued Grand Forks business player and I respect them. Only place open in Grand Forks on Christmas Day! We were travelling through to the Kootenays so stopped to get lunch.Friendly service and food better than expected.No buffet - all a la carte. We love this restaurant in Grand Forks for their delicious, fresh Chinese cuisine. Our favorites include the flavorful chow mein, tasty ginger beef, sweet and sour pork, prawn stir fry, and curry dishes. It's our go-to spot for satisfying our cravings for authentic Chinese food.
As a first-time visitor, we will definitely come back when we are in the area. The atmosphere was decent, but the food was exceptional!
Like I was saying, you can't get Chinese food like this anymore. Old school buffet style. The new owners here have settled in over the past year and now they've got the groove. More variety, good decent buffet style that the locals and country folk seem to like. I like it too!
I love Chinese food, but this food is gross! It doesn't taste fresh, like it's been microwaved and overcooked. I used to love this place when it was Stanley's restaurant, but that was a long time ago. I would suggest Gillys instead!
I have been there now twice since ownership changed. The first time we ordered just one order of Ginger Beef and it was plenty for two people ! Not only was it plenty but also very tasty and spicy ... that's what I call Ginger Beef ! The second time I had the lunch buffet and it was tasty and got always replenished. One of the best buffets I had in a long time ! The dessert section could have a little more variety but all in all I was quite impressed ! I also took another order of Ginger Beef home with me and it was as good as the first time ! Hats off to the owners and staff !
