Don't know if it was this ferry or the other as two are running back and forth across the bay of fundy. However, the lobster roll served in the restaurant was excellent. View all feedback.
What Damljan Krsmić doesn't like about Grand Manan 5 Ferry Restaurant:
I was really upset figuring out they gave you a tiny little space to be with your pet or up where is also really noisy for your pet. We were really hungry and ask if we could bring some food up and they said no,...I understand this but it was ridiculous that the only place they have for pets is just 2 chairs in a little corner and they were on board more than 4 big gods! That is insane! I know that regulations apply... View all feedback.
It's a good thing the ferry crossing is 1 1/2 hours because you need that long to get your food. Compared to BC Ferries this was night and day. No one smiled either. Slow and sullen. Food was ok but not a great deal like...More
While this is a cafeteria style restaurant, the food was very good and considering it was aboard a ferry with no competition, quite affordable. Food generally is fairly expensive in the Atlantic Provinces, even considering the favorable exchange rate with the US. This ended up being one of our least expensive meals. It's not fancy, but the staff obviously cares enough to make it tasty and it's served quickly.
We ate breakfast on the ferry. It was a decent price and surprisingly good food. I get sick easy from too much grease or meat products (eggs included) but did not get sick from the food on the boat.
We loved riding on the Ferry & dining on great chowder & fish & chips. We leave Grand Manan tomorrow back to California. The Ferry is wonderful/ but SO SAD to leave our daughter & Grand daughter.
It was good to discover that the ferry service did not take advantage of being the meal serive available. Food was very good and staff serving very nice.
