Peking Garden Family Restaurant

Against our better judgement, we decided to have lunch, thinking it would be quick and tasty, like so many Chinese restaurants across the Canadian prairies. Sadly, we found this one was neither. The floor was a bit sticky. The bathroom was so old, we couldn't tell if it was clean or not. The food was really no better than defrosted packaged Chinese food. We always try to find something good to say about each place we visit, but are unable to do so here.

My wife and I had left calgary early in the morning east. we knew that we would stop somewhere in the rural saskatchewan, but we didn't know where. on the afternoon, when the rain was absolutely tilted and we were pulled to the side. the road in a tiny, impregnable city, I begin to look at our tomtom for cities close by with a motel/hotel and a Chinese restaurant, as we both commented that this is what we wanted for diner tonight. gravelbourg was the city that was both close and had a decent motel and a Chinese restaurant. as soon as the rain rose, we went and were not disappointed. good basic Chinese Canadian cuisine.

Food was absolutely deliciousAmbience was quite nice, not too loud as to enjoy the company you're withService was attentive, but not overbearing.

Absolutely brilliant service. Food was great, busy the service was second to none. I can't recommend this pace highly enough!
