Emil's Tavern On Center - Grayslake

The restaurant was fantastic! I sat at the bar on Monday night for the Bears watch party and never had to wait for a cold Coors Light. I ordered a mozzarella sticks appetizer and took a pizza to go, and both were really delicious. The pizza surprised me - I wasn't expecting much, but it was very good. If I find myself back in the area, I would definitely stop in again!

I had a delightful experience at this restaurant. A friendly server named Lana took care of us and made sure we had everything we needed, despite it being a busy night. Another server, Dominique, also went above and beyond to ensure our meal was perfect. However, another server named Mike seemed cold and indifferent, almost as if he had a personal grudge against us. He kept asking if there were any issues, even though we were completely satisfied with our service. Despite this, Lana and Dominique made our dining experience exceptional. I hope Mike's behavior was just a one-time incident. The food was delicious and we look forward to returning to see Lana and Dominique again. Hopefully, next time, our experience will be just as wonderful without any negativity.

If I find myself in the area again, I would definitely visit this restaurant once more.

I had a lovely experience. This wonderful girl, I believe her name was Lana, brought us our food and made sure we had everything we needed. It was a busy night and our server, Dominique, was swamped but it was nice to have someone who put forth the extraeffort to make sure everything was right and we got what we needed. Between Dominique and Alana everything we needed wasaccounted for. At one point during our meal Mike addressed our table and for some reason was very matter of fact and seemed tohave no sort of personality, almost as if there was a vendetta against the people who were serving our table. He kept asking ifwe had any issues or if something was incorrect. He couldn?t take the fact that we were completely pleased with our service foran answer. These beautiful young women went above and beyond to make sure our meal was everything we could have hoped for andthis ?Mike? character just seemed to want us to feel as if we weren?t being served properly. I hope this was just a one offsituation and this isn?t the same response he gives all of his guests. The food was great and next time we come in we lookforward to seeing these two beautiful young women again! We will definitely be returning, just hopefully next time no one willtry to bring down our lovely moods!

Local restaurant in Greys Lake. We sat outside and was blown away by the two man band. Playing classic rock. Oh and then we ordered food. Firecracker pizza was the special. Thin crust and pepperoni and bacon, with jalapeños. The bomber witch was ameatball sand with cheese and garlic parm fries. Chopped salad. Julian salad. All were tasty. Only one meat ball went home. Thenas we were leaving the band started playing Jethro Tull. Almost turned around to listen more. Very good choice for entertainmentand food. Service was top notch and food was prepared fast. Wish I had more pictures but ate then took pictures.
