We took a train from Ljubljana to Graz to catch an airplane the next day. During our train ride a local from Graz told us about Altsreirsche Schmankerlstube. He said that it was the best place in Graz to eat authenic Austrian food. I'm glad we met this man. The food was excellent as was the service. I had Schnitzel. The place looks OK (courtyard at least), the service is rather on the slow side and the food well, traditional Austrian food (which is nothing exceptional). Prices are higher than worth it, but there were not too many options on our arrival. View all feedback.

If you want to try with a large gathering, you can book the large dining room of the establishment, and there is a eating area with chairs/tables. If the weather are right, you can also eat and drink outside, and there's a counter where you can sit and taste. Thesmallestguests can sit in children's chairs (please inquire).
