I recently visited House of Prayer after reading online that their kitchen closed at 6. As a disabled woman, I arrived at the door only to be turned away by an employee who informed me that they were closed, despite the sign stating they closed at 4. No shade but they seemed cult-ish when I visited. Seemed as if they worshiped the pastor not the Lord. Furthermore didn’t Jesus get mad there were merchants in the House of The Lord? And they have a whole restaurant in the church. Selling food. Smh.
I love the soul food. Everything was delicious! The fish is fried FRESH to order. Better get there early because the food gets gone quickly!
This restaurant is located in a cellar and offers both lunch and dinner menus. The chef has a soulful approach to cooking.

I am unsure if I will return in the future if I am in the area.
