Despite emailing and receiving an email back with the code, we were turned away due to a private event. I have visited a private event that makes fun. helpful staff, great place, great atmosphere. large cocktails, however, very limited to beer/cooler/storage etc. secret destination adds to adventure!
As a guildforder I remember the annoying of the queuing on the narrow staircase of this shaky old building when it was the tudor rose, despairing that if the next table was available, it would be the window seat where I. they seriously gooey macaroni cheese with my mother. good happy to say that I can add new happy memories to this building, as the tudor antiques have created a quirky venue that delivers... good waiters, fun decor and fabulous cocktails. our little group all loved it here, somehow the mood is exactly right. everyone who was in reykjavik is reminded of the teestuben there that are excellent. I can't wait to go back. hopefully they give us the new code!
When someone who lives and is used in london to talk the and nice bars, that's just a fantastic place. We were so happy here on Thursday night, it wasn't busy at all. the cocktails were beautiful, and there is a lot of choice! only a pleasant experience and we recommend it to anyone who visits guildford.
The idea of this place is nice, but once you get passed the 1920's style interior, you realise that it's just very over-priced with very rude staff.
