not sure why this place gets negative reviews. I've been here for about a decade and never had a bad meal or experience. eating is not 'five stars', but for the price and portion sizes there is nothing wrong. its tasty, cooked to order and for taking I had never wait more than about 15 minutes View all feedback.
What Peter Steinberg doesn't like about Wu Chinese Cuisine:
All the food was burnt, the chicken balls were greasy with tons of oil. Absolutely disgusting and horrendous meal. The service is terrible here on a weekend because they are so busy! So it’s not cooked to a quality standard. Highly advise not to use this restaurant on a Friday or Saturday evening. Horrible View all feedback.
The Staff were very friendly and welcoming, they explained how everything worked and what the dishes they served. Food was amazing! Will be going again soon
The reviews of this restaurant are terrible! I can't believe what I am reading. The food here is delicious, with a variety of options including mini octopus, tofu, crab meat, pork, lamb, enoki mushrooms, and vegetables. The broth is amazing, especially when mixed with the spicy broth. There is a wide selection of sauces available to customize your meal, such as chopped garlic, crushed peanuts, coriander, and peanut sauce. The staff is welcoming and polite, and they are helpful if you are unsure about anything. The atmosphere is cozy and warm. I don't understand why some reviews are negative - the service here is excellent. Don't let those reviews deter you from trying this place out! Just remember to have basic table manners, be kind, and clean up after yourself. If you do that, you will have a great experience.
Please tell me why the bone is black this food is obviously not fresh I will never go back again customer service poor and food with no taste
I have tried dumplings from several Chinese restaurants in London, but none have been as poor as the ones I had at this particular restaurant. Although they were clearly homemade, they fell apart easily and the meat inside was burnt and tasted bland. I couldn't even finish them. I would prefer to eat cooked frozen dumplings over these. On the bright side, the chow mein was decent.
Food was cheap, oily, felt like frozen dishes warmed up in a microwave. Waitress was rude and clueless. Brought us the wrong dishes. We asked for something with prawns.... she brought us porc.... my boyfriend and I hardly touched the food. I will never go again. GROSS :
