We visited for lunch, ate outside on the deck. The Thai beef salad had heap of beef - cooked perfectly. The freshly squeezed juice and coffee were good. My friend had a sandwich from the menu - which was also good. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Cafe Assiette:
Went in on a Sunday afternoon and some staff seemed more annoyed to see us than anything. Average food, dishes undried and straight out of the wash (least they had been washed) and loud and repetitive omm paa music. I get the German theme but maybe some variety ?. Might be better for lunch or dinner but keep walking walk past if after a quick coffee and snack. View all feedback.
We enjoyed a delicious lunch of pork, pretzels, sauerkraut, sausages and mashed potatoes. Children's menu had two choices. Also tasty local bottled beer choices. Good coffee, a wide assortment of cakes/slices and an open fire all added to the appeal!
I want to say it's a less known gem but that would be a lie nowPacked out today and almost full most other times when we head up.
The food was really good - I had a schnitzel plate that was delicious and plentiful In fact we all had good food.
