Cholo's Homestyle Mexican - Haleiwa

I just had drinks along with some chips and salsa (which was unlimited for just $3!). It was seriously delicious—some of the best salsa I've ever tasted, so much so that we got some to take home. The atmosphere was excellent, and the location is conveniently situated among local shops, making it a great stop while you explore the area. We will definitely return just for the salsa... and I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!

Margaritas were good, my friends said tamales were delicious, I wish they have a vegetarian tamal or taquitos dorados… What the hell is Mezquila btw? I ordered Mezcal Margarita I didn’t get that. Chile relleno was delicious, Quesadilla was alright, ok bye. I’ll be back.

It 's okay, but wouldn 't call it homestyle . I do come from an area with pretty much the best Mexican food so my standards might be a bit high. The cheese enchilada was pretty good. Best thing about it all was my wait person, she was super nice, wish I had caught her name.

The food was decent and well sized. The drinks are okay and the service is very rushed. Not great just decent. The chips and salsa are not complimentary they just add it to the bill without you knowing at least with us they did that.

The staff is very friendly and the food comes out quickly. The quality of the food is not bad, it tastes good and the meat is well-seasoned. Everything is perfect for me.
