A&W - Halifax

Their ad said the co... read more While doing some shopping on our trip to Halifax we decided to eat at A & W, glad we did, it was the best burgers we've had in a long time. Their ad said the cows wasn't fed hormones, probably made a big difference. We've found the beef in Nova Scotia is better than what we eat in Georgia, USA. We had a nice mean, the restaurant was clean and the staff very helpful. The girl asked, where are you from? I guess my southern accent gave me away.

But the bu... read more Went to the drive thru and ordered a single mozza burger and a coke. It was over $8 which seems quite expensive in comparison to other burger places! But the burger was so much better than the usual fast food ones so it was nice for a change.Although, I would need to use the word "fast" food here as a joke - it does take quite awhile to order food from any A&W location. Not fast! But the staff apologized for the wait and were quite nice.I think A&W might actually cook their burgers instead of mass re-heating like the competition.

Food was expensive and really not that exciting for what we paid. I wont likely go back again.

Burgers are tasty and you just have to have a root beer to go with it!
