Great Wall Restaurant - Halifax

We had dinner at the Great Wall Restaurant after our visit at the Discovery Centre. Most dishes were competently prepared, but the Chinese broccoli we had was tough to eat. Perhaps it was the lighting but the dining room felt gloomy.

We visited this restaurant for vegetarian food. We had doubt about good veg food here but it was very fresh & tasteful vege Dishes. One was Bhuddhist delight & veg fried rice. It was very good food.its highly recommend.

I have been going to the Great Wall restaurant in Halifax, for a very long time. The food was consistently fantastic. Tonight, the food was terrible. I have always recommended this place for great food but now I have to wonder. I will give it one more try but such a disappointment.

Ordered Chinese food from them over the phone as they were recommended by the staff at my hotel.Food arrived to my room in no time flat, paid for it at the door, and all was well. Got everything I ordered so I took everything out and put it my plate.Rice was FANTASTIC as were the chicken balls. But the beef and broccoli dish was "off". My dish had no seafood in it but both the veggies and the beef had a very seafood taste to them so I suspect they may have been cooked nearby.But beyond that, definitely worth the money and would get their stuff again,

Eat well, especially the noodles are very tasty! give them only four stars because the amount of pork and bark is less than we are expected!
