Service was excellent and the food absolutely fantastic. A great location for those livingstaying in the area of the Halifax waterfront. We had oyster that were clean and fresh. Our shrimp appetizer was fresh and tasty. We both had lobsters salads which were inventive and so good read more.

After reading reviews it was easy to decide to go to Mckelvies while in Halifax. We waited until the morning of to make a reservation and our only option was or I was excited to have my first full lobster in Nova Scotia and unfortunately it was very overcooked.
