Mezza - Halifax

Lovely little place, good food and nice staff. Had the veggie pizza and falafel, which was quite lovely.

I'll be honest and say I've only ever eaten their donair poutine. Still, the donair meat is excellent (so if you like donair meat, you'll likely love whatever meal they use it on) and for the price, you get a very decent ammount of food, and that reusable plastic tray is a always a plus (it's not a tray I'd keeo for years, but it's still reusable if you plan on using it a couple more times)Last time I went there was so I could bring a meal on my 19 hours train ride (so I don't have to buy their overpriced meals) I just needed one of them donair poutine and one or 2 snacks, and I was filled out for the entire ride.

Halifax 's culinary meal is a donair. This place is a great mid-eastern cafe that makes a great donair. Located in the heart of downtown halifax on the main street Barrington St. its a good place to take a break and have lunch.

Stopped at Mezza for a slice of pizza to share last holiday weekend later in the evening. The pizza was delicious. So yummy, that we ordered another! A great place to grab a quick slice! Nice, thin crust!!

Had two chicken shawarma wraps tonight. Chicken was very dry and maybe overdone; could be out too long in trays? Staff person literally threw them together really fast = no care taken. Will try other Lebanese on next pass.
