Athen - Hamburg

The menu card at "Athen" is very comprehensive, all in all probably 100 different dishes. It should be obvious that it is impossible to have the fresh produce and competence to create 100 different dishes on every given day. Also a significant part of the menu consists of Italian and Spanish dishes. As we often do in Greek restaurants we ordered 6 different dishes for everybody to share. Only the Bifteki (grinded beef stuffed with feta) was worth mentioning the rest was pretty average. Even though we accidentally were there on the 1 year annivesary of the restaurant it was more than half empty, but still we struggled to get the attention of the (all none- Greek) staff.Restaurant Athen would be better served to reduce the menu card to 30-40 Greek dishes and then focus on doing them well.

Good greek around the corner. You can recommend this good conscience to anyone

Unfortunately, no pita bread and something to lush portions. Quality and friendliness very good

I enjoy eating there, the quality is just good and the food is always delicious. The salad is always crispy and the service very accommodating. Feel very well here
