Gasthaus an der Alster - Hamburg

A magnificent and magical place, on its decoration. the meal was wonderful also to very honest praises. the two ladies of the staff at the table were the greatest injustice to this beautiful restaurant. a smoker on a room, the other. who sat and milk, both leave with very little time and simpathy for the customers.

Recommend booking a table for weekend days. a traditional German restaurant with its own charming style. eating was amazing, the staff super friendly and we had our eating very fast. we had a great dinner, recommend this place for solid German kitchen.

On the first day in hamburg we ate a late lunch and thought it would be great. delicious food, friendly staff. the word, after we, through occulation, began to be hungry when we were close and thought why not? 30 minutes wait...for the menu....but no one wanted to take our orders, so after an hour in the restaurant we left in wut and began to eat after a place. during this second experience I can not recommend the restaurant even if the lunch day was ok.

Came a little walk and a few good traditional German foods and a few beers. I wasn't disappointed, it was worth the walk. I had the pork fillet with cheese, speck, wobble mushrooms, of course with bratkartoffeln. it was good to enjoy it, washed with a few native beers and finished with a little schnapps to keep the cold away. at about 30 euro I found this excellent value and would return definitiw. highly recommended

And nothing more. It was a quiet night so I could pick and choose my seat. To be honest, everything was just fine. Not exceptional, but fine. I wouldn’t go out of my way to take someone there, but it was ok.
