The "le canard" was once our extended dining room. as "le canard nouveau" we have visited it in the beginning phase some paints and were never really enthusiastic about herrn germinous kisses, least of the charm of the entire team. now: her güngörmüs has delivered the lead of the house end 2016, so late that in the michelin the star also thrones in 2017. too wrong, as we see a visit on Saturday 8th juli. this especially in the immediate comparison with the excellent "petite amour" in the immediate neighbourhood. chaoten had ruined hamburg and left many cars as a nativity at the elbchaussee, near the duck. so we were, two couples, among us on the magnificent terrace with the dream view of elbe and container port. the service was extremely friendly though not error-free. the lunch card slender, but also made access to the dinner menu possible. the champagne came wonderfully chilled, the 'amuse bouche' seduce gloomy joys of the special type: "roh marinated salmon, kimchi, gurke, misocreme". a star guaranteed. that was the first time. the "grilled aal, avocado, wasabi, daikon, mango, coriander" was of consistency good, but decidedly overwürzt. of the dorade the same could be said. but it suffocated on instinct while at the same time excessive sharpness. formal but nicely arranged. everything has begun. the rehfilet was of very excellent quality, absolutely perfect roasted with delicate jus and enclosed tiny pfifferlings in a quality, as I was allowed to enjoy them last year in friaul. until the main course there was a neat white crozes smitage at a fair price. the first erroneously opened red crozes ermitage by chave was then drunk with great pleasure to the main course. the autor would certainly not give the etablissement a star even if his opinion may not be shared by all the table guests. Here, the enjoyment-price ratio is very limited. the ambiente can act at the most in nostalgic viewing attraktiw, josef viehauser is greeted at this point. Evil tongues could also say a fresh brise through the spatialities could not hurt. also the kitchen would not hurt to go to klausur to meet a new location. above all one thing: the autor cannot resist the impression that the kitchen brigade is frustrated, only to have to work for four guests, cooked in the smallest possible flame, which is really not going and must be called unprofessional.
An urgently needy ambiente (the look alone then also no longer) a service worker who is more likely to listen to the food issue of a mensa, connected with a really good (but not beyond) kitchen to dramatically outdated trips make a visit to the le canard superfluous.
I was here with friends and new well-known food. location is beautiful at the elbe. great location. to enjoy even more when weather is better. it was top as well as the service. I chose a menu, but here you will also receive extra wishes. again
The restaurant is super situated and has a great view of the hamburger harbour. the service is very attentive and unfortunately something to be present, but this can also be due to the fact that the restaurant on the evening was not very well visited. the food was very good, especially the main course with lamb. unharmed was unfortunately the cheese selection for 19€, which included 4 small cheese pieces.
