La Spaghett Italian Restaurant

Lovely atmosphere, food absolutely delish! Service is a tad slow, but not really anything to complain about. Three servers for 30 guests would not be economically sound. Enjoyed our visit and have already recommended this establishment. If you enjoy dry white wine, the Cabert from Italy is wonderfully crisp and light.

We feel like this favourite spot of ours has slipped :( |t was not overbooked, which it used to be. Service was nice, but it was somehow not the same. The food was great, but something overall was lacking in the atmosphere. For years we, from Toronto, have eaten here whenever we visited our kids at McMaster, or for the layover on the Ride to Conquer Cancer....something was different tonight. For one, it was half empty. Sad to see.

This is our favourite Special Occasion restaurant. We've always had spectacular food and service. Last night, not so much. Our salads were amazing. My husband's smoked salmon pasta was flawless. My pesto pollo was so disappointing. The chicken was lovely and flavourful. The pasta and sauce had zero flavour. My husband tried some to, in case it was just me and agreed. I would have mentioned it to the server but she never came to check on us and we couldn't get her attention. When she saw my full plate at the end of the meal, she merely packed it up for me. Green bin. If I didn't like it last night, I won't want it today. My husband was dismayed to see birthday treats going to various tables, but although he mentioned my birthday celebration when making a reservation, it was ignored. Maybe it's time to find a new Special Occasion place, Hamilton sure has its fair share of great restaurants.

Been here twice. VERY TINY inside, make reservations. Food is always delicious! Just go, you wont be disappointed.

I have wanted to try this restaurant for some time since I've heard great reviews. First off, there was only one waitress and I felt that she was always rushing and not much attention to us which is unfortunate for this cozy restaurant. There was only one size of wine - 6 oz and when I received mine it was noticeably a lot less then my friends and others in the restaurant. The food was only average - my friend and I both had to add salt and chili's to add taste to our meals. The best thing about the entire experience was the warm bread with garlic butter. When our bill finally came they over-charged my meal. When I mentioned it, they corrected it. There isn't enough good things about the restaurant to want to go back.
