What User doesn't like about Rankin's Bar & Grill:
We have been here 4 or five times now and the past two have been disappointing. Last time my Meat Lovers Skillet was more potatoes the anything and was sent back. This time the steak in my wife's Steak and Eggs tasted off. She could not eat it and sent it back after a bite. Both times the server was very good about the substandard food. Cozy little nestled in Pub style Restaurant Bar with Amazing food and incredibly friendly staff.
Located in the east end of Hamilton, this family restaurant is a popular and almost historic spot. The walls are adorned with fun local memorabilia, adding to the cozy atmosphere. The service was efficient and welcoming. The Breakfast Special is a fantastic deal and possibly the best in Hamilton. Be sure to pair it with their delicious French fries, which are made from real potatoes, not the frozen variety. I definitely plan on returning.
The best fries and gravy in the city! The wings are also delicious. However, the prices for the wings are quite high and the half off deal on Monday nights may not be worth it unless you are willing to splurge. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff make an effort to get orders right and serve them in a timely manner, although the wait time can be lengthy.
The wings are delicious and the all-day breakfast never disappoints. There are plenty of TVs playing sports constantly. The staff is always friendly and treats everyone like part of the family.
