Restaurant is currently closed but ordered for pick up was delighted that we 've found a local Indian restaurant that provides excellent food. Orders their All Day Special which included spiced onions, 2 x poppadoms, garlic naan (upgrade from plain), chicken chaat 2 curries with a single portion fried rice it came to £18.75 in total. What V D doesn't like about Saffron Indian Bellshill:
Food lovely, nice selection. Small amounts of each dish available so you get the sense it is kept fresh. Puddings were good. Nice, small pieces of cakes to choose from so you can sample different ones without waste. Ice cream delicious too. Drink service a bit slow despite restaurant being very quiet. Alcohol is not permitted, and the restaurant offers a limited selection of starters and main courses to choose from.
This restaurant offers top-notch food at affordable takeout prices. We ordered pakora, chaat, lamb Kashmir, and chicken makhani masala with chapatis and saffron rice, and it was excellent. I'm looking forward to trying their buffet and Family Feast in the restaurant.
The customer service was very friendly, the food was delicious and freshly prepared. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and we will certainly visit it again.
