Honest, earnest, proper northeastern Chinese food. The waitress was friendly and attentive, dishes roared off the wok and were with us fresh and hot. Nice subtle heat with the spicing and shout out especially to black fungus with white cabbage, aubergine and fried tripe. Will be coming back : View all feedback.
What mbarara doesn't like about Sanbao Chinese Kitchen:
I Felt like eating some thing elite so I ended up in this Chinese joint ordered a Tom yum kung SOUP which more like a Veggie soup I ordered Chinese veges and a Coke. As I didn't have my glasses I depended on the waiter the female WAITER did not know a word of English she brought the male waiter who just about could speak English Between the 2 dishes and service charge with out me knowing I left a decent Tip. AWFUL in everyway. Bad service, bad food (no taste at all), bad portion sizes...bad prices. Service charge added too! An awful place
Sanbao is my go-to for chicken chow mein in Hammersmith. The food is good fast and fresh. Can't recommend enough.
One of the best Northern style Chinese food in London. Very authentic taste recommend the skewers (beef tendon is great), pork trotters, pig intestines etc... I have dined both in store and via Deliveroo, and the quality and portions are consistently good. Karaoke is also a great experience for group parties. I would say to ignore the 1* reviews from people who order from the 'basic ' menu I think if they ate at a restaurant in China they cannot appreciate the authentic taste. For them I recommend standard UK style takeaways which have modified Chinese dishes to match western tastes. Sanbao kitchen is for those who are looking for truly Northern Chinese food experience. Highly recommend!
It’s delicious. The food is very authentic. You can also sing karaoke downstairs. This is a restaurant that I will definitely take my friends to when they come to visit me from China. I even have friends who flew over from Taiwan to eat here.
