The food was excellent and the service was great. I had another enjoyable visit to try the authentic Malaysian and Sri Lankan dishes. The Hoppers, Roti, Nethali Pittu, and seafood were all fantastic. View all feedback.
What 11karemc doesn't like about Eastern Fire:
Not great experience. The food seemed a bit stale and the overall impression of the restaurant is that it's gone down a bit and shabby though clean. We felt pressured to order more than we wanted and it wasn;t cheap. View all feedback.
It was over this restaurant and we thought we would try. was not sure what to order first, but the owners was really helpful with the recommendations. ordered the prawn sambal with the roti, which we would highly recommend and go back! we were too full to order dessert, but the owner gave us a sweet funnel on the house to try and we were so glad that we tried before we finished our meal. in any case comes back and highly recommended!
Home style authentic aromen! a decent authentic South Indian, Sri lankan and Malaysian coast cuisine restaurant. I had a farewell. all eating is quite on the spicy side....but the cook is very accommodating and can also cook gently. I had ordered the normal version and it was really hot, but very tasty! mutton rolls very nice. so they were noodles. the egg noodles are very good and full of taste. but loaded with chopped green chili....has them to go aside before they attack the bowl of the noodles! sambal prawns one of the best u can in london. 100 times better than most joints in chinatown. nasi lemak is a must try! so tasty....here they do not serve with huh. but for the price what u pay, definitiw is very good. the roti canai is ok. still good as many restaurants serving the frozen ready meals. the appams were okay. kottu paratha was mistakenly sent. I had ordered mutton curry and instead was mutton kuttu. I guess it was lost in the conversation. but it was ok.... it doesn't seem so fresh. but eat very delicious. if they like spicy and coast dishes, eastern fire is a must try!
Small but very welcoming and accumulating Malaysian and srilankan restaurant. eating and service were very good. the Malaysian cook adds something dear to any dish he makes and has a personal note with his customers. loved the aesthetics and detailing in the restaurant and had a total happy experience. would definitely recommend one of the Malaysian special dishes.
Came here, based on a rek of Malay friends. not disappointed. would highly recommend the spinat lens shell and prawn sambal. Roti was great. the military judge and jaggery was a great court to finish the meal. the dishes are quite small, so would recommend getting several dishes (we have 4 net for 3 ppl. the service is amazing and the owners are incredibly friendly. will return:
After our first visit here the other day. We went in as it opened at 12 o’clock my wife had special fried rice and I had Dahl with spinach and roti bread we both had Malaysian tea. The food was really cooked nicely and was fresh the total cost of the bill was £23. The restaurant was very very clean. This family run business is very popular in the local area so it is advised that you book if you wish to attend.
