I adore dining and drinking at my local Waldorf. It has a relaxed small-town atmosphere combined with upscale vibes and award-winning locally brewed beers made on site. I have known the brewmaster since childhood, and his ales are top-notch. The staff is incredibly friendly and many have been there for years, so their expertise in drinks, food, and the establishment's history is impressive. Whether you're looking for... What User doesn't like about Walldorff Brew Pub Bistro:
We used to enjoy the chili at this restaurant, but they have since removed it from the menu. We don't come here often, but today we decided to try the fried chicken sandwich and their IPA. Eating is okay. but the side of transphobia and homophobia put by the owners woman on facebook. makes it a disgusting place to give more money. a single star is too much.
Excellent ambiance and high quality food. I particularly loved their pasta dishes and dip sandwich.
Really good beer and burgers. Sat at the bar, service was great. Wish I lived closer!
I work in Hastings and I'm always hearing about the Walldorff. So last night we went for the first time. I didn't think it was anything special. I d9nt plan on going back
Great food and beer we enjoyed the Crab Rangoon dip (menu special, not a regular item), French onion soup, potato gnocchi, and fish and chips. The State Street Stout and B.S. Honey Rye were excellent as well. Only issue is as with so many places, the lack of carpet or any kind of sound buffering means you have to basically shout at each other to have a conversation. But that's more a me problem than a them problem.
