It's very near, less than 10 mins' walk away from YHA Sydney Central (you exit the entrance, turn right, keep walking along the shops without crossing the street. Been there 4 years ago and had a chance to come back when walked pass.Order half noodle and half rice My partner has got : chicken cutlet udon with teriyaki salmon and I had tonkutsu ramen with unangi donThe teriyaki was too sweet and bit burnt also my ramen has no pork in it?The service was ok. The restaurant offers reasonably priced dishes with generous portion sizes that are delicious. I was pleased to satisfy my craving for Japanese curry, especially their chicken katsu curry.
Tiny hole in the wall joint that punches above its weight (in size) Decent sized, resentable meals served quickly. I had the chicken kariage bento which came with salad, miso soup, agedashi tofu and some takoyaki. Be prepared to keep your elbows in and have someone bumping into your back but for a quick, yummy meal, it was pretty good.
Always no 1 gyu don and bento so far in sydney.<br/ small shop in corner of thomas st, opposite Paddy’s Market.<br/ <br/ quick and good service, there are option to have 2 small dishes for the price of regular size and try different varieties of food.<br/ <br/ ramen bit too sweet for me but texture is perfect.<br/ <br/ very recommended.
Kura is so amazing, affordable dishes with good portion sizes. It's a great place to get lunch especially on a students buget Would highly recommend everyone to try it.
Chicken nanban bento set is pretty good for a quick dinner or even take away. The space is pretty small though so i wouldn't recommend for huge group. Good take away restaurant or dine in if possible. With the meal set, you will get salmon sashimi, small takoyaki, and a piece of gyoza.
