Biodome - Hégenheim

We aimed to try this restaurant on several occasions but each time we tried to book for a Saturday evening they were closed which became frustrating! We eventually tried a Saturday lunch and the restaurant was open and serving a buffet lunch. The food was quite nice although some of it lacked flavour. Maybe because it was keeping warm in a buffet-style way. Service was welcoming and friendly even though our French is poor and the staff spoke limited English. We may return to try the a la carte menu as this might be tastier because it is fresher.

My friend told me of this little gem. Is a little ran shackle, but organic, surprisingly cheap and with friendly staff. Theres an organic shop next door.

They offer all kinds of groceries like plant milk, tofu, grains, nuts etc. and cosmetic products at a reasonable price. They also have a huge selection of organic and local fruits and vegetables.

The market has many organic foods and nutritional supplements. The restaurant has always vegetarian servings with fresh products.

Too bad for this very good restaurant, currently closed. We strongly hope that it will reopen very quickly and that we continue to enjoy ourselves with organic food.
