heidelberg seems to have more than its fair share of medium-sized restaurants, which makes them even more rewarding. I ate there twice for a simple pasta lunch, and once I had saltimbocca. both were excellent. this is a properly guided restaurant. where the food is good quality and tastes great. View all feedback.
What Rebecca Moll dislikes about Akademie:
Italian restaurant with well prepared meals, although slightly adapted to the German taste. well maintained service. the weeping was a bit bad: I asked for a glass bonarda and first got something white, then came the right wee, but served chilled. high prices, but average in the center of heidelberg. who has fed German food and wants good pasta is right here View all feedback.
I am used to visit the beautiful city heidelberg, and because of the misleading reviews of this particular restaurant, my friends and family would ask me to try it. every time we face a vulgar involuntary service. the personal will not smile for some...Anson they would not try to explain the menu, they will not change any smaller thing in the board, and they always answer in a rough, strangely loud voice. However, we always talk very politely with them, although the level of hygiene is not perfect. once we found a hair in our eating firm, and the owner hesitated to apologize as to the minimum wise to admit. the owner (a grim old kerl) always sees tourist (un-European special) with an angry face and speaks with them in an icy ton. eating is boring and tasteless. Therefore I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone, and if they are looking for excellent Italian food in heidelberg, they will go to the davinci restaurant.
The atmosphere and the service in this restaurant are very beautiful and we have passed a beautiful event. eating was not the quality we expected. starting with some crust-shaped broth crumbs, where not crusty. the burrata is too dry, the olive oil...not delicious, the Vitello tonato was not good. the boards were dressed like in a very cheap restaurants and this is too expensive for the quality and presentation they receive. the fish was very good, but without sauce and they forgot the patatos that came later. as dessert we had a sabayone that was a white plate with mousse, nothing else than decorative elements at all. they do not feel that they love eating that they prepare. a real pitty.

Great hosts and service and top notch food. Wonderful wine. Location and setting is fabulous. Don't miss this restaurant!
We arrived in the early evening and watched how the restaurant gradually filled with a mix of locals, businessmen and tourist. quiet, friendly and attentive service bought antipasti misto and with parmaschinkens and cheese filled aubergines as appetizer; followed by spaghetti casa and homemade tortellini with ricotta and spinat in a sage butter sauce - all delicious. this is a good restaurant a little off the main tourist trails and it is worth visiting it.
