As they say, the dinner rolls are amazing. Good food. We were celebrating and the restaurant made it fun and enjoyable. I have to point out something I thought was ironic: it says on the front of the menu no franchise or chain food served here, yet the dessert menu clearly seems to reference (without infringing on trademark or copyright) that the famous Shoney 's Iconic Hot Fudge Cake is served there. What Jeffrey Owens doesn't like about Binion's Roadhouse:
I ordered the open-faced pot roast sandwich and found most of the meat to be dry and tough. The garlic mashed potatoes were overly garlicy. I was disappointed with the service as well, as the server only left me a 52-cent tip on a $41.48 bill when I paid with a $50 bill. The sweet tea, however, was excellent. I have been eating at this restaurant for at least 40 years! I used to go with my grandpa when I was under 10... Now me and my wife try to go at least once a month!
Our server truly rushed us to order. She asked is qe were ready to order multiple times with in less than 10min of being seated. The rush is understandable because there were people waiting outside to eat but we waited 40 minutes to be called in as well so ... Anyway, food was good. Sweet tea is one of the best we had. Burgers and meatloaf were tasty. Burger could use thicker bun that can hold all the patty and toppings. The yeast rolls were AMAZING! I would come back just for the rolls. My husband said his marinated chicken and baked potatoe was OK. Squash casserole is sooo good. We were served so much food that we couldn't finish it. We were given a to go box which we forgot to take with us with our food in it. Oh well.. but we will definitely be back!
What I ordered salad, baked potato, and the tips was very good. Went with a group. Everyone enjoyed their food. Service was great and the staff was friendly.
Phenomenal steaks cooked to perfection ?? And you MUST try the fried pickles
