Chef Priyank was fantastic, he made great food for our entire big group. He went out of the way to make our food special by honoring our special request to add mushrooms. He got them from other restaurant specially for us. Amazing taste , great ingredients! He also served us with great desserts in the end! THIS CHEF DESERVES A GREAT RAISE! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! What Steven Nowinski doesn't like about Salty Dog Cafe:
To be fair we did not have the highlighted meals, but our Turkey Pesto Burger, Shrimp, and Calamari were “okay.” Not bad, but not something I would return for, especially for the price you pay. The aesthetic of the place was cute though. View all feedback.

The food was good; not great & pricey Views of the water were great Went for lunch on a Friday & it was packed.
We were seated overlooking the pier and was a lovely sight. However the food was just 'ok We started with hush puppies for an appetizer. They were warm, sweet and toasty, but the chilled butter was so cold it crumbled. My shrimp po boy was fried and would have been nice to have a blackened option. The bun was slightly chilled. Perhaps steaming it would be nice? Husband had a shrimp basket again fried was the only option. Served on a plate. Shouldn 't a basket meal be served in a basket? Both of our meals were served with an ample amount of hot fresh fries.
Best alligator I had ever!!! First time having it in a patty melt too, it was off the chain!!!! I would definitely come here again
