Zendo Asian Bistro and Lounge - HINGHAM

We arrived late and they took us up without judgment or attitude. they sat us beside other families with children, so we don't try to be annoyed for others to enjoy a romantic Valentine's Day dinner, but at the same time we make the feeling as if we were the only patrons in the restaurant. julie (I think that was her name) was super and very customer-oriented service and I appreciate her help and service. good sushi is not hard to find, but zendo is a complete package of customer service, ambiente and great eating all rolled together....get it?! corny, but could not resist!

The most AWFUL sloppy Chinese food. First of all, we were the ONLY table in a gigantic restuarant on a Wednesday at lunch time...that should have been the warning! The $20 dollar sizzling sea bass was coated in batter and drowning in sauce. Really overpriced, cheap Chinese food

Saw at least 10 staff members on their cell phones. Strange vibe overall in the restaurant.

The sushi boat is spectacular, including veggie options which the restaurant is more than happy to accommodate. The service was awesome. I highly recommend Zendos

Unfortunately, we received the worst service. The food was so greasy and unappealing. I went to the bar to try to pay my bill because the young gentleman who was assigned to our table was only seen twice throughout our whole dining experience. When I went to the bar I was gawked at and not asked for help. You would think that some of the adults running this place would at least understand basic hospitality. Disgusting food and even more disgusting service. Truly unacceptable and not worth the money.
