Restaurant Rossini - Hittfeld

It is a beautiful place for a visit and a very beautiful location. the food is Italian and the menu is based on the Italian dishes. the only problem is that they have no English menu and only in German, Italian and Spanish and that is a problem for foreign people, but it is a nice place to spend the night and eat to the evening. also they serve only dinners so that no lunch is served in this restaurant?

I booked a table for 4 people about the hotel meyer next door, where we stayed. When we arrived, I knew immediately that the waiter was a little bit by his sniper art, but led us to our table. that should remain the only highlight of our evening in rossini. we got menus and we asked if they did one in English, we speak German, Italian or Spanish, we were not told English. we didn't think we were going to be okay. we ordered a couple of beers and the ladies decided to cry. another waiter came with the beer and we tried to ask for the menu, but we were told that he did not do this, the other waiter. the original waiter returned and we tried again to explain the dishes on the menu, but he had nothing of it. we even had a German herrn at the table opposite that tried to help us thank us for this, but we had enough at this time and sent our women to the restaurant on the street. we drank our beer, asked about the bill, paid and went. we went to the gambrinus of the carving specialist literally 100 meters the road along the hotel to eat there. what a difference, we were welcomed and led to our table. the owner explained the menu without problems. one of the locals even bought us a round drink and stopped to talk. what a welcome surprise, they were so warm and friendly. In summary, if you stay at the meyer hotel, do you taste this hotel instead of Italian? German they will not be disappointed, we had a great meal with so many laughs.

We were on the way back from Danmark next door. went in the restaurant and they could not have been more helpful. delicious food and great customer service. could not read the menu, as it was in German, but one of the waiters and cook came and explained everything to us. in any case recommend!

We have reserved a certain table for 10 people in advance for the 80th birthday of a related, but sat right on the passage at the kitchen, the loudest place in the whole restaurant, which already says something. the service was overall inattentive, unorganized and unfriendly. the eating was completely unsatisfactory, I had ordered the teriyaki tuna with sparing and sweet potato puree, but what I got was a mess, something you would expect from a school cante for 4 euro. but not for 25. because rossini is mainly visited by locals who appreciate the proximity and do not disturb the expensive prices, the questionable popularity of restaurants is not surprising.

We had our high-time breakfast in this restaurant. a separate midday area with a loving table design was created. food and service were excellent! !
