Contribute FeedbackHarbour Lights in Hobart has been a long-time favorite for many, however recent visits have shown a decline in quality of service and organization. The cafe seems to be popular among tourists rather than locals, and the QR code ordering system in place lacks the personal touch that many diners prefer. Despite some shortcomings, the curry Scallop Pie is a standout dish that is flavorful and satisfying. The cafe has a character that draws in a large crowd, with efficient service and delicious coffee, making it a must-visit spot for coffee and breakfast in Hobart. With excellent table service, delicious food, and a beautiful location near Salamanca Market, Harbour Lights is a top choice for breakfast and coffee in Tasmania. Whether you're a light eater or looking for authentic Italian cuisine paired with Tasmanian wines, this cafe offers something for everyone. Despite some issues with service, the quality of the food and coffee make Harbour Lights a great choice for dining in Hobart.
Eat excellent and good price. service extremely efficient and friendly courteous staff. at this place there is a very relaxed “love”. we booked short term and got a table at the window with view of the harbour. we rate this restaurant/café... very high and would return definitiw.
Thsi was our first meal after the arrival in hobart. great atmosphere and sweet cafe style eating. we sat upstairs, which had a nice view. when I got the Scallop Piee in hobart, I was not disappointed!
I'm downhill, bad food and service. was a favorite, but not back. the whole hour and half for the main thing. also overload.
Waiting for meal was too long. had not even waited for gloomy, as there were already 2 hours. thin tasteless pizzas. the owner has changed since last there. will not go back.
Been a while since I visited Hobart, found a cafe that I had visited previously. Today was exceptional, they were busy but the food and coffee arrived in minutes, a delicious big breakfast, good coffee. Service was prompt and cheerful, can only say it improved...on good..
