Contribute FeedbackA popular restaurant in New York City has garnered mixed reviews from customers. While some patrons praised the delicious and fresh sushi options, others were disappointed by the poor quality and slow service. Despite the hit-or-miss experience, many diners expressed a desire to return solely for the food. One particular standout was the Optimistic roll, a long-time favorite that left one customer delighted. Overall, the restaurant seems to excel in sushi offerings, but needs improvement in service and consistency.
I usually don't leave reviews for many places but this restaurant has one of the best dishes. I had been looking for a good Japanese restaurant for a while to get decent rolls and teriyaki chicken and I found it! I'm a picky person with chicken and this one didn't disappoint. The rolls also were fresh and the wasabi didn't taste artificial like in other places I've tried. I also think the price is fair for the quality and quantity. Can't wait to go back, I just had some and I already want more.
It was a nice place with good food and drinks. There wasn’t a much vibe to the place though but that could be because we went in the afternoon and we were the only customers. Friendly staff. They let us customize our sushi.Vegetarian options: Good options and can be customized
Wanted to bring my son to one of my favorite spots in Hoboken after a long day in the city. Glad we went. For years, the Optimistic roll has been my favorite... so we had that. He also had some noodles, and we ordered a couple of other rolls. The food was delicious and fresh, and the server (forgot her name) was super attentive and patient with my 12 year old. I think the other roll is called on the water or something to that effect.I hope you stop by and give them a shot, you 'll be glad you did! Enjoy!
We enjoy the food here. The food is fresh and prices are reasonable with a good showcase.Thank youFood: 5/5
I went here last weekend, food is fantastic, fish quality is really good, very important for sushi place. FYI the cherry on top was our server Sam, she is upbeat and had some good recommendations for us!!!! Def ask forHer!!
