with so few restaurants available here on the illiana prairie, I am so grateful that I still have the pumps for great lunch and dinner. once again, I could take one of my helpers for lunch and enjoy a delicious grilled smashburger, with a side of pfeffer jack cheese curds (the best herbal by-law of mankind known.) What Amanda Nicole doesn't like about The Pump:
When I order food it never comes right always something missing on the smash burgers and the fried cheese curds taste like they were fried in burnt oil, and can never get anyone to answer the phone. went there and ordered the bar was not busy and then was told it would take 45-60 mins for two burgers and and order of cheese curds. Have the ribeye sandwich with corn nuggets and a sweet tee! the food was delicious, they wished fresh brewed sweet tee tho served! total 10/10
It's a nice place to meet friends for some grub and a pint of Riggs .
Good looking place to have a drink and enjoy some food. Price for food is fair.
Stopped in for lunch, best smash burger ever! Awesome staff! Can't wait to go back!
