Straits Houston

I have made reservations without knowing that the street in citycenter (houston) was closed. my friends and I did not stay with many options to choose from dinner. the dinner was still tasteful, but the energy and the whole atmosphere of the restaurant we were used to is gone.

The restaurant and the food were great!!!....but I specifically asked a private room for my birthday party, and they gave it away. Unfortunately, they did nothing to take care of the situation.

After having lived in Southeast Asia for several years, I was thrilled by the prospect of eating in straits. initially it is located on a very beautiful location in the houston citycentre, close to many officiere and shopping possibilities, with a view of a beautiful courtyard where children can play French and French. beautifully decorated, it had good ambiente and great hope unfortunately the food did not necessarily hit the mark; from the menu missing some clips like char kway teow, fried rice (they had imperial fried rice, but it was more Chinese than se asian,) and had only curry option if I remember. it missed the culture, taste and options that were so alive the community stratified to represent. I will try hard again, but not much hope for those who want a real Indonesian / Singaporean experience, try Malaysia Malaysia in league city.

Very bad service! many customers complain about this bad service! if someone doesn't take the restaurant seriously, a little bye will go down! I'll never go there again.

Lovely patio but green band were noisy so moved inside, oh an Texas hot. Food delicious, service very attentive, highly recommend
