We had the set three course menu as part of the deal we were on. Six choices for each course so I’m sure it caters for everyone. We had prawn cocktail and chicken liver pate to start followed by fish and chips and chicken tikka curry and for sweet we had sticky toffee pudding and three scoups of ice cream, all courses were very good and we enjoyed them all. During our stay at the hotel, we dined at this restaurant for three nights. The food was delicious, although I would prefer if they used regular plates instead of unconventional serving materials like wooden chopping boards and slates. We stayed at hotel for a weekend break, so dinner bed and breakfast over 2 days, we did not bother with the breakfast on the second day, it was that bad, poor quility food poor menu food keeped arriving cold,
The breakfast menu offers a variety of options, including Continental, cold buffet, and hot buffet with full English ingredients. The restaurant also has a charming candlelit area. The three-course evening meal menu may not have large portions, but all the meals are delicious.
The food was decent, but there were 8 of us and we had to wait a long time for our meals to arrive. There isn't much else to say about this restaurant. We only ate here because we were staying at the hotel. I don't think we will dine here again.
Nothing else to see. Be ready to wait for your starters, mains and to have your table cleared. Food is OK.
The most slowest service which I ever had in my life .. over an hour waiting for starters and without asking them again we would probably till now had to wait for mains .. I asked for aperol spritz they said no ingredients so I asked for strawberry daiquiri also out of ingredients but that wasn’t enough customers from table next to us order burgers… and guess what unfortunately they run out of burgers buns !! So they couldn’t serve burgers … avoid that’s what I can recommended
