Trattoria Giuseppe - Imperial

We hadn't visited in years, likely since their opening year 16 years ago, but the place is still fantastic. The hostess, wait staff, and Giuseppe himself truly make you feel like family. Someone is always checking in on you. The food was excellent; the soup and salad were both good, and the fresh bread was a nice touch. I ordered the chicken Muddiga while my wife chose the salmon. We were both very pleased with our meals and can't wait to return!

I had the fettuccine Alfredo, and it was cooked to perfection. The sauce was absolutely delicious, and you could really taste the herbs and flavors. The staff was incredibly friendly and engaging, especially with my daughter. Everyone in my party also said everything was perfect. They didn’t mind that I made a mistake! The portions were generous. The owner even came over to shake our hands and thank us for visiting. Overall, it’s a fantastic place!

This restaurant is a real hidden gem! I discovered it by asking locals for Italian food recommendations while in town for work, and I'm so glad I did. From the moment I entered, the staff made me feel like family. The chef and owner frequently visit each table, creating a warm and welcoming environment, and he truly remembers every conversation. The food is exceptional; I’ve never had a disappointing meal here. It's hard to pick just one dish because everything I've tried has been fantastic.

Outside of my own kitchen, this is undoubtedly the best Italian restaurant in Missouri. I have high standards for Italian cuisine when I dine out, and I can confidently say that our recent meal with 25 friends exceeded my expectations—there were no complaints whatsoever. Everyone raved about how delicious their dishes were. From the moment I made the reservation to the conclusion of our meal, the staff was extremely accommodating. Our server, Lisa, was nothing short of amazing; her professionalism and attentiveness truly stood out. The portions were generous, making for some excellent leftovers. The salad that accompanied the meal was not only delicious but also a good size. The bread served both before and during the meal was fresh and flavorful. My pasta was cooked to perfection. One of my friends ordered the Cajun seafood pasta, and after tasting it, I can see why it received so much praise—it was incredible. If you haven't been to this restaurant yet, you definitely should!

The owner warmly greets all of his guests, a quality that's hard to find these days. The food was fantastic, and I can't wait to come back for another meal. The service is outstanding, and the food never fails to impress—I'm really in love with this place!
