Bosphorus Istanbul Cafe - Indianapolis

This restaurant is a jewel! It's very authentic in decor with detailed painted ceilings and floors, food and service. Makes me want to visit Turkey!

I've been here several times. The food is always good and the price is great.

Sirs, In reference to: Livingsocial deal to Bosphorus Istanbul Cafe When I called this restaurant on Saturday to find out where it was and directions a man that answered the phone told us to use your damn gps and then hung up on me after we had driven almost 35 miles to come there and could not find the restaurant.!!!!!!! Today we finally got to this restaurant when it was open and it was a mess there. We were also the only customers in the whole hour we were there!! (at 3-4pm in the afternoon) When we first sit down the man waiting the table was very rude as he tried to tell me this deal is over; as I disagreed with him and showed him the coupon dates he then told us we had to return at dinner as the living social coupons were only for dinners , as that is only when living social certificates were accepted!! Then I showed him it did not state this and he took it away to the kitchen, and then returned and took the original restaurant menus from us and then gave us menus that only had appetizers on them and he told us; this living social coupon was for appetizers only!!!!!!!!! He also every time he talked; directed his talk to my wife, and I told him several times she has been here less then 45 days from Colombia and only speaks Spanish, and he continued to always look at her and speak to her for the ordering. One time he even told me; I was asking the lady what she wanted when I had told him what she would like to have to eat, since she only speaks Spanish and he was speaking only in English!!! After ordering, it took a long time and the bathrooms were a mess also and not clean enough for my dogs to have used!! When we told the 'waiter ' we were done and wanted the check; he grabbed the living social coupon very fast from the table where I had it sitting and he told me that; all was good and we could now leave!!! We never saw the 'check ' for the meal and do not know if the full value of the coupon was used then. I would remove this restaurant from ever being on your site and never allow it again on the site!!!!!!! We love your site, I am a disabled vet, and my new wife is from Colombia and she enjoys the other restaurants we have went to and the attractions I have bought and taken her to so far. We almost passed the Cafe by because there were no signs of life at 2pm, but were very glad we stopped. The food was excellent and brought back memories of when I lived in the Middle East. The atmosphere with the painted ceiling, figurines, saddle bags, rugs, and music was a trip into a different culture. I ordered Sultan's Delight and my friend had Chicken Couscous, both were excellent. With an appetizer our bill was $33, which was worth the quality. You can park along on the street outside or in the neighboring laundry mat (which was closed when we went).
