The first time I went with a friend and it was great because sadly for the restaurant but great for us it wasn't crowded which meant we could have a good conversation. The food was delicious and you can take any left over food home. The second time I went was with family which included one 10 year old child. Once again it was great and we all enjoyed out meal. What Judy H dislikes about Himalayan Nepalese Restaurant & Cafe:
This is one of our usual 'go to ' restaurants 'but on our last visit iwas just a little below standard. Service slow and food not as good as usual. Even their tandoor lamb cutlets which I think are the best in town, were not as tasty. Pity, but we will go back as the food is usually so good. View all feedback.
Fantastic experience here tonight! Great flavours, friendly staff, spacious open restaurant area. Will be back again! Definetly try the momos as recommended by others- so good!
Food was delicious and reasonably priced but service was average but it was quite busy. Didn't offer any drinks or desserts and probably would have said yes. Will be back again
Really enjoy the nepalese cuisine...a fusion of indian/asian styles. the curries and naan/rice combo are great. love the mustang beer and this is a regular favourite of mine. have not had a bad experience out of many visits. One of the staff members actually mistook me for the guy that worked across the road at a convienience store lol and apparently they give each other discounts...so...lucky me lol will leave a generous tip on the next visit.
I love the food here i had visited a lot of Nepalese and Indian cuisine but never find the food lyk here we have tried entree momo and chilli chicken for main goat curry birayani and garlic naan that was delicious n my partner became fan of this restaurant....... and yes obviously we lyk the staff n i recommend u all to go there ...
Have been here multiple times - food is very flavoursome and quality is consistent. Great ambience as the restaurant is generally busy on the weekend and the decor is consistent with Nepalese culture. Lots of curries (both vegetarian and non-vegetarian) with a bias towards milder (but still very rich and tasty) flavours compared with Indian cuisine. Have been back multiple times and can't wait for our next visit!
