Went for breakfast while in the area on vacation. Staff was friendly and the food was good. We both had the lobster eggs benedict which was to die for! Plenty of lobster, great sauce, eggs done right, side home fries (you won't go hungry getting it). The only issue? Price, i guess? This restaurant served my wife's favorite meal of our ten days in Nova Scotia, but it was perhaps the worse service we've had at a restaurant in years. We sat outside (many tables being served) and waited probably 20 minutes before anyone came by to give us water or a menu, even though we went in and mentioned it at one point. This place was really great. We went there for lunch while staying in Ingonish. The food was great. The fresh bread and cakes that we took home made a good addition to our lunch. The portions are big, we were not able to finish. We had chowder, pasta, calamari, salads. Everything was very good. Waitress was great. We got our appetizers after 20 minutes and 20 minutes later our entrees. I would definitely recommend this place.
Went in for a table but was really busy and disorganised so ordered a take out. Waited nearly 1hr. Yes nearly 1 hour. Then when we got outside, we realised part of the order was missing - I went back and the male waiter was really helpful and it was sorted promptly. Food was good but felt portions were small.
Amazing food, I don't think my husband has enjoyed a meal that much in a long time :) Atmosphere was nice as well. Highly recommend!
The staff/server were friendly and the food was good and great flavor , The bakery was amazing and the pies are amazing. i would go back
Lobster mac and cheese without the macaroni? Both me and my partner ordered the mac and cheese and were surprised when it was served with rotini noodles. It was also not thick and creamy, instead it was quite watery.Service was AWFUL. Wait staff were poorly trained and sections were very odd (4 tables beside us all had different wait staff). This made for very slow and inattentive service.
