I randomly chose this restaurant and was not disappointed. The burgers and sandwiches were delicious, although a bit on the large side. The fries were a bit too salty, but still addictive. I wouldn't want to go every week, but as an occasional treat it was perfect. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even waiting patiently while we had some issues trying to pay the bill online. This restaurant has more of a diner atmosphere than a bar. They have a limited selection of draft beers that are priced higher than usual. The outdoor seating area looked appealing. The food is prepared right behind the bar where customers sit. The restaurant felt a bit cramped inside. Their specialty dish is fried chicken, which is decent but may have a slightly heavy crust. Amazing place for some great chickenburgers! I took the spicy chicken burger and it was really delicious with the right amount of seasoned. the staff is very friendly and friendly! good selection of drinks. must go if you have eaten in the city of iowa city!
Great atmosphere! Small, comfy and chique. Staff were beyond friendly and enjoyed talking with customers. It was neat to watch food being prepared infront of you.
In town visiting my son and decided to stop here for lunch. Food and service were excellent!! Only in town for a few days but already wanting to go back! Highly recommend!
Pretty good food! Friendly service and food was great. Should I visit Iowa again, Pullman Bar and Grill will be on top of my list of eateries.
My wife and I loved every part of this place; the food, cocktails, service, and atmosphere. We will surely be returning the next time we're in the area.
