Although not outstanding, we found the food at this restaurant to be good pub fare. The atmosphere at the pub is quite lively and family-friendly.

Ideal for those looking for a unique dining experience outside of the typical chain restaurant options, all conveniently located near the town center.
I was very disappointed with my experience at The Beagle. I went there for Sunday lunch to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday. Before arriving, I downloaded the Vintage Inns app which promised a free drink for registering. However, when I mentioned this to the older lady who seated us, she claimed it was not valid. After checking the terms and conditions on my phone, I was able to receive the free drink. The menu seemed decent, but a bit pricey. We ordered Sunday lunch and hunters chicken. Unfortunately, when our food was brought out, it was clear that the plates were being handled with bare hands and the food was not hot. Even the gravy was lukewarm. Overall, this experience was not up to par and we will not be returning to The Beagle. There are much better dining options in Ipswich to be explored.
This is the first time we have been to this pub and it was a fantastic experience. Tab our server made the experience more than it was already, she is a credit to the team. Can’t wait to revisit
